Sugary Stop is a youth-led social enterprise where young people gain their first real job experience while learning entrepreneurship, teamwork, and financial skills.
Through hands-on work serving customers, managing money, and running a business, youth build confidence and real-world experience that prepares them for future careers.
Sugary Stop is a youth-led lemonade pop-up created through WDC's Youth Development Program.
Students don't just learn about business - they actively run it. From creating products to working events, youth gain direct, hands-on experience operating a real business.
This is not a simulation. Every part of Sugary Stop is built on real participation, real responsibility, and real outcomes.
Many young people never get the opportunity to gain real work experience early.
Sugary Stop creates a space where youth can:
This experience helps bridge the gap between learning and doing, giving youth a foundation they can carry into future jobs, education, and entrepreneurship.
Gaining real-world job experience
Earning income through participation
Building practical business and financial skills
Developing confidence through hands-on work

Sugary Stop is more than a seasonal drink stand - it's a youth-driven social enterprise launched by four inspiring teens from the Wezesha Dada Center's Youth Development Program. Aged 11 to 19, these young leaders turned their entrepreneurship training into action, transforming a classroom idea into a real business with meaningful impact in their community.
Empowering youth through real-world entrepreneurship, leadership development, and exposure to professional environments.
Providing girls and underrepresented youth with tools to build confidence, gain experience, and dream bigger.
Operating as a youth-led LLC, Sugary Stop is a living example of what's possible when young people are trusted to lead.
